MIBO-HS
For high current loads connected to common ground you can use this new MIBO-HS plug-on module. It works as output current booster and needs MIDECO to operate. MIDECO by itself is able to control LEDs with mere 3.5mA, but when MIBO-HS is plugged on top, each output can source 2A of current from power supply rail voltage going up to 30V. This is more than enough if you want to build MIDI controlled lights, motors, solenoids, or anything else requiring considerably high current. See how MIBO-HS nicely plugs onto MIDECO: You should never, ever, at any time, disconnect power from MIDECO, or unplug MIBO-HS from MIDECO while the power is applied to MIBO-HS. This may cause MIBO-HS to burn up in smoke with potential damage to your health caused by exploding parts. Every operation regarding MIBO-HS installation must be performed without power applied. It is highly recommended to supply MIDECO from the same power supply that is feeding your MIBO-HS loads if it's less than 20V. There's even small pad to solder a short wire, that can go directly to MIDECO's power input. In all other cases you MUST switch off the high power supply before MIDECO gets powered off. For proper operation you must ensure that MIBO-HS and MIDECO are permanently screwed together by supplied screws. You must not replace 2 nylon standoffs with metal ones, this is how it must be used and it's no mistake or a workaround due to missing parts. |
